A story of trust and connection

Single father Javier Pérez is ready for a Provider to take care of him and his son Alejandro so he can offer his son the life he deserves. Firefighter Gavin Carmichael wants nothing more than to work with his team and help people, but to get his sister Evelyn away from her abusive Provider, he needs immediate access to his trust fund.

When Javier and Gavin connect through a matchmaking company, they find common ground in needing a hasty marriage.

After Gavin charms Alejandro, Javier knows he must learn how to be a lover and a Recipient in order to keep his new Provider. When Gavin watches Javier with Evelyn at the wedding, he realizes there’s more to Javier than he’d initially understood. As life makes them choose one another repeatedly, they learn there is more to marriage than “to love and cherish.”

After nine years of raising Alejandro under his parents’ critical eye, single father Javier seeks a Provider to marry. He needs someone that can support him with Alejandro’s care for his cerebral palsy, but also one that won’t treat Alejandro as nothing more than his disability. Enter Gavin Carmichael and his sizable trust fund.

Firefighter and unwilling heir to the Carmichael fortune, Gavin has watched his sister Evelyn survive an abusive marriage for years. Now that she’s finally ready to get out, Gavin needs immediate access to his trust fund. The only problem is that his grandparents’ stipulations for access to the fund require him to be married. Enter Javier Pérez and his adorable son.

Together, they find their way to the altar, but beyond that? Everything is up to them to build the family that they both want to build.
